Sprite with saltine crackers. Just sip on the soda, but it'll help calm your tummy so you can eat normally.

Yogurt. It has healthy bacteria that could help with whatever issue your tummy might be having.

Also agree with sprite and crackers.

Do you know what caused the upset stomach? If it is a bug, just ride it out and don't try to force anything. Make sure you are getting plenty of liquids, because stomach flu can leave you really dehydrated.

If your stomach was upset for other reasons (gas, bloating, cramping, constipation) you may want to take some different approaches to your eating.

I find ginger really helps. That, and peppermint. Maybe one of these in tea, little sips at a time?

    Feel better soon !

(I usually just have chicken broth with a spoonful or two of brown rice ..... plain tea, crackers, diet ginger ale)
  • anything bland... oatmeal (not flavored ones) white or brown rice, boneless skinless chicken breast or turkey breast, unsweetened apple sauce...

I grew up with ginger ale and oyster crackers for my upset tummy. Nowadays, I go with a plain tortilla or slice of bread. I have no clue how/why it works, but it does.

Ginger ale is the truth! Sip slow and also agree with saltines and chicken broth. Feel better soon!

I wouldnt eat sugary things like sprite when stomach is upset, its full of gas and the gas is not good for your stomach. Most soups will be fine and a cracker of some kind. Rice pudding is very gentle of the stomach but i wouldnt over load it with sugar mind,
  • Cereal (Kix, cheerios- all low cal and bland)
A chicken wrap (boars head oven roasted chicken, one of those low cal wraps, a little greek yogurt)
Kemps fat free chocolate frozen yogurt (only 45 cals a 1/4 cup and it has probiotics which is good for the tummy).

When dieting and cutting things down, caffeine can definitely make you nauseated as can too much sugar. Make sure you're drinking enough water (usually dieting finds you eating more fruit, veggies, and high-fiber foods. The water helps your tummy and system with this).

Nausea can also mean your body is low on sugar. Try some carrots or fresh fruit (melons, pineapple, are all great to bring up sugar levels quickly).

Of course bread and crackers help if you feel like it could be an acid problem.

Listen to your body and the cravings you are having- try to figure out what you may have cut too much on or what you may have to tweak.

You don't down the whole can in one sitting. You just sip it. The bubbliness actually helps relieve some of the discomfort from an upset tummy. Trust me. I had a few days of horrific morning sickness early in my pregnancy. Sipping on sprite and ginger ale was a huge relief.

When I feel sick to my stomach I eat a pinch of candied ginger. That usually makes me feel better so that I can eat something.
