an NSV that made me :)

so today I went clothes shopping and ended up buying size EIGHT (and 10) pants! yay, so happy/amazed/shocked at that...but that's not the NSV I want to mention

I was looking at the sales racks in this one store, and was heading to a wall full of tops and this elderly lady that had just been looking at them said to me 'they're all large, we'd be drowning in them!'

and that just put a huge smile on my face - she said that *I* (and herself, she was a slim woman) would be drowning in a size large! :bigsmile: :happy: . It kind of took me aback really! because just a few months ago I was wearing XLs that were getting snug! (i'm now a medium shirt/top)...but of course the lady didn't know that!

Thank you! and congrats on a size 12! i was doing a happy dance when I got into a size 12 a few weeks ago too! it's a great feeling, isn't it?!

Yes!!! exactly! she had no clue that her spontaneous remark would mean anything...she was just saying what she saw (a girl that a size L would be too big on!) :happy:
