What is the recipie for cake mix using diet soda?

I thought I saved it but I guess not. I think you just add a can of diet soda to it but does it matter what size cake mix? I bought a standard box of betty crocker yellow cake mix. What else can be added or changed to the recipie? thanks!

I just use standard cake mix. and 12oz can of diet soda. I use light (sprite or 7up) for white or yellow cakes. Dark soda for chocolate.

It is a shame that you all prefer the taste of something made of nothing but processed crap that resembles food.

Why not make a SCRATCH cake where there are no chemicals or preservatives, just real food???

Oh I forgot, the calories must remain low. SMH. This is a sad state of affairs on this site and in the US in general.
