I can't think of anything to make, its always salads, just different version...tuna...chicken...some sort of fish etc - I am from england and looking at other peoples food diaries is crazy because I have to google most the stuff...

If anyone know any recipes other than salads and jacket potato w/salad

PLEASE (and I'm begging) feel free to

a. drop me a message
b. send a recipe my way
c. add me

or d. all of the above

I'm lacking in imagination!

I eat a lot of wraps, I find these wraps at Walmart that are 50 calories..I do turkey, chicken, chicken cesar, egg n bacon and cheese ( I use egg beaters )...I try a lot of recipes and just try to eat in moderation. Fish is always a great choice too.
  • Good topic. This sounds silly but I think it would take away some of the stress to have a sort of a "Wheel of Portion" to make the decision for me as to what types of foods I would have for a given meal. One ring decides the type of meat (clearly not a vegetarian), one the type of veggies, and on for starches/carbs, fruits and such. You might be surprised by the combinations that turn out to be pretty tasty. Of course, you could also be surprised by how badly some foods can be mismatched ;).

In a potentially more dangerous idea, I spend some time on Google Plus looking through the posts of "foodies" whom I've deemed to be among the healthier few that post to my stream to see what they've captured with their iPhone for the day. This can lead to cravings for things that help no-one, but also can inspire a creative dish from what you happen to have laying around in the pantry.

    Hope this is helpful.

I am no expert, but i can share what has worked for me. I play around with my food entries the night before. This will help you prepare and not worry about what to make yourself for B,L or D. Try to be smart about your foods. Look at your daily goals and try to stay at or under those numbers. Remember not just because item may say FAT FREE or LITE means that they are healthier.I have learned that the substitutes are worse. If you haven't already add the amount of sodium, fats, carbohydrates etc to you daily goal report.(you can modify this in your settings). My best advise is to play around with foods and let MFP add calories and all for you. After all my jibber-jabber have you thought of mixing fruit with veggies in salads? I was not a fan of papaya, but on day my mother made an ice-burg lettuce with cucumber and added a hint of cayenne pepper with salt and lime juice. It was very refreshing.Plus the cayenne pepper heats your stomach this helps get rid of trapped fat.But don't over do it with any kind of pepper be gentle with your stomach. How about romaine lettuce with apples and celery with an apple vinegar and olive oil dressing(add some grilled chicken). Play around with flavors! Also just put to practice this week and lost an extra pound by eating more protein. Lean protein like meats, chicken fish lean beef even beef jerky is a lean protein that can work well for a snack. If you try a protein shake just make sure it does not have too much sugars its all about portion control. I had tried dieting a lot before too many things i failed, but i have fun doing this and has worked wonders so far.!! Best of luck to you. Just love yourself and keep focused and DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!!♥-jocy
