There were several suggestions to use PB2 and PB2 Chocolate to help me step away from the jars of Nutella and Peanut Butter. Please share with me recipes you have and the texture of this product when you mix it with milk. I want to order some of Amazon, but want some ideas and suggestions before I do.

Thanks so much!

I grew up on all natural peanut butter so I absolutely love it. People that grew up on stuff more like Jif and Skippy I've found don't take to it quite as quickly, but can still come around. :)

I eat it, literally, every day. I have it every morning on toast and it is completely delicious and satisfies my PB addiction happily.

I also have been known to mix it with more than the recommended amount of water and use it as a dessert sauce or add some spices and seasonings and make a sauce for chicken out of it.

I bake with it and have made frosting as well as cupcake fillings as well. And I often will just dip stuff like carrots or apples in it. Basically, I love it (both flavors, often mixed together) and eat it whenever it can.

It's cheapest to buy in larger amounts online. I've moved from buying cases of the jars to just saving one each of the regular and chocolate jars from a previous order and I just buy cases of the 1lb bags now. Works out to just around $3.25 a jar, shipping included the last time I bought two cases. (I buy directly from Bell Plantation) But you can also order some single serving packets from the website if you'd like to just try it out to see if you like it first.

That said, I do occasionally still indulge in some full fat, normal all-natural PB when my calories and macros allow it because there is a certain richness to PB with all the natural fats in it that PB2 can't match. But it's a delicious and versatile alternative.

I used to buy it for my smoothies, but I really love the peanut butter taste and needed to use too much to get the flavor. (I have this problem with regular peanut butter too, though.)

I like the pb2, but haven't tried the chocolate one because my mail man stole my package and now I'm scared to order it again.

Love pb2 and choc pb2! Use it in recipes as a substitute for peanut butter however I don't use it in a sandwich or instead of peanut Butter as a food choice, only as a flavor if that makes sense? Lower in fat and calories is the reason.

I didn't find any taste difference between PB2 and chocolate.

Love it. Never heard of it till this site. I ordered a 2 pack from amazon that had the regular and the chocolate. I use it in my shake every morning. I only use 1 tbsp and I can taste it just fine.I don't like PB by itself or on a sandwich(I know weird) but I did use it to make skinny ice cream sandwiches.... 1 chocolate graham cracker, a tbsp of PB2, and 2 TBSP faf free cool whip sandwiched together then put in freezer for 2 hours. Super yummy. That recipe usually calls for 1tsp of PB but with the PB2 I mixed with water and used 1tbsp.
  • Just made 3 ingredient Chocolate PB2 Banana Pancakes - mash 1 large banana, add 2 tbsp prepared choc PB2, & 2 eggs -mix well. Pour in greased skillet, make them whatever size you like, brown & flip. 310 calories, 33 carbs, 10 fat, 19 protein, 4 fiber - FOR THE WHOLE BATCH! NOM.

Our local grocery chain just started carrying it, but they are charging almost $6/jar. I'll be ordering it from Bell Plantation from now on. SO DARN GOOD! For "dessert" at night, I have it on wasa or dip a banana in it.

When my calorie counts are too low, a PB2, banana, and honey sandwich. (You noticing the banana & PB connection? lol)

My next project is to tackle PB noodles ala Thai food. NOM. (No bananas in that, I promise!)

My suggestion is to buy Protein Plus brand Peanut Flour from iherb (or wherever else you can find it) because PB2 is a rip off in comparison for the same thing! Check out the price comparison! Trader Joe's also used to carry peanut flour, but the dirty bums discontinued it. <$6 a pound, if you spend $20 you can get free shipping

    Great in smoothies, nom!
