I stumbled on this site...well firstly I downloaded the ipod app (it's free by the way!!!!) and thought I'd look at the BIG site LOL...

I'm impessed with what I have seen so far and hope to gain lots of tips and friends on the way.

Can I ask....what plan do you follow? and how do you use MFP?

    I started the same way as you, lloking for a calorie counter on my i-phone ;)
    the way to here is that you log all your info, and it gives you a calorie goal for the day (you probably had that figured out already^^)

    On the site, you log your exercises too, and that will raise your calorie goal for the day...I know it doesn't really make sense but you wanna eat at least 1/2 of your bonus calories so you wont go in starvation mode and store fat instead of burning it.

    another hint, I fint the calorie counter on here isn't realy good so I use that one and adjust the calories when I log my exercises

    The best way to go is an HRM but I can't afford one for now ;)
