Treadmill

I wanted to post about my treadmill exercise because I think it might be beneficial to others. Shortly after my weight loss surgery, I began working out on the treadmill every day, beginning at 2mph for 20 minutes and working up in increments of .2 mph and 5 or 10 minutes per session. When I got to 3.5mph, I began walking 70 minutes for a total calorie burn of 429. I wanted to increase my calorie burn without increasing speed, so I increased elevation instead. I am now up to 70 minutes at 3.5 mph, which is 4 miles, but the calorie burn today was 799! I am jazzed because I am on a 1300 calorie goal and I can eat a little more without guilt.
PS: My weight loss shows zero due to a glitch in the program. I have lost 64 lbs since joining MFP.
