Feel like I can't do it

All of the years of being skinny, but not in shape...The difference between now and then...
I used to have a pretty busy job so I was moving all day. I never worked out. I ate whatever whenever.
Now..the only time I move is when I workout. I workout a lot, but certainly not the 8-12 hours of moving I use to get from work. It is hard workouts though so it seem like it should add up.
Anyway. I understand eating the "right" foods. I understand moderation. I understand all of it and I put it into practice, until I don't. I don't know the person I see in the mirror. I don't like the person in picture. Who is she? She can't be me right?
I just don't think I can do it. I feel defeated every other day.

But if you don't do it, it won't get any better. In fact, if you are like me, it will get worse. I feel just like you when I see a picture of me or see myself in the mirror. It is unbelievable that this is who I am now. But I work at it every day. And some days are way better than others . I totally blew it yesterday. But I start again today.
You can do it. I look at all the success stories and let it motivate me. Look for little things you can change, and keep moving forward. Good luck. You can add me if you would like to.0 -
To me, the best motivator is support. Lately I've been feeling pretty hopeless, but I keep on coming here, going to my weekly support group, going to the gym, and going to my shrink. It's hard work and I'm sad today...but support does keep me looking toward my goal. Some days are going to be harder than others...don't give up!0

This whole thing is habit. eating bad and getting no exercise is habit. Biting your nails is a habit. habits are able to be changed but it does not happen over night.
Get into the habit of eating and exercising and it will be the norm. You just got to keep plugging away when you don't feel like it. MAKE YOURSELF!
Good luck and I hope you stick with it xx0
