Help! Advice...

I'm a very active person. I work out hard everyday for up to 2 hours. That's 80 minutes of cardio and weights. With that being said, I also am always hungry. I can eat all day long. I do for the most part choose healthy foods but I can't seem to loose weight and even put on some from time to time. I chew alot of gum so it will keep me from eating that helps some but now I'm chewing 2 pack of gum a day and that adds up. Anyone else feel discouraged reguarding there hard workouts not working for them... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • your body is noticing the burning of all those calories...and because its last resort to go through all the effort of using your storaged fuel (your fat), it beggs you for a quick fix. replace it with a fat free sugar free protein shake. that way your not back tracking and working out just to eat guilt free.

I would be more concerned about whether that amount of exercise is sustainable for the rest of your life.

Take a look at the roadmap and find out if you are set up with an appropriate calorie target for your weight and level of activity.
If your calorie target is OK then look at your protein intake - are you getting around 30-40% of your calories from protein. It can make a huge difference in how long you feel full.

Too much cardio. Focus on a weight training routine and put cardio in 2nd place. It worked for me and I was in the same boat as you. My full story here with more details --> http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/740340-i-lost-60-lbs-at-age-51-anyone-can-any-workout
