Just signed up, signed in, logged in, fired up -- whatever you want to call it :) I'm 45. Mom of 2 adult sons. I've been married 22 years. Live in Missouri and work from home (like a crazy person). New grandbaby. Lots on my plate .... but I'm crazy active. I run/walk 5K, 10K and half marathons -- just tired of being overweight and doing it.

My positive attitude annoys a lot of folks - so I guess if you want giant piles of sunshine, add me :) If you want a debbie downer, I'm not the buddy to have.

    Welcome. With that much activity, I'm going to guess your going to see the biggest gains by monitoring your diet. MFP is GREAT for tracking what you eat!

    Welcome aboard. I sympathise - being active is soooo much easier when not overweight.
