Hi y'all...

Brand new member who's decided to get serious and try this a new way. I've only ever done this sort of thing on my own, even though everyone says that with friends is easier and more motivating.

The good part is that my daughter's gone off to college and I work from home, so I have some time to be able to focus on me...and you! Add me if you're interested in talking to a 41 year old who'd like to combine having a good laugh with getting healthy!

Thanks everybody, I've been getting motivated checking out the site and seeing everyone's progress!

And I just realized that my topic line is phrased all wrong...should have be "Hello FROM New Orleans," the way it is makes it sound like I'm just talking to people from here. Sheesh. Some writer I am. lol

    I had to click your name here... I just had a little girl (4months old) and named her Tessa Bea!
    I want to lose 50lbs by august. I'm in a wedding and think that I'll look better at 170 stuffed into a bridesmaid dress.
