a co-worker vent

So, one of my co-workers makes me feel very uncomfortable with some of the things he says. We are both, relatively new, employees. Even a customer complained to my supervisor about him, today...I think he was answering a text on his cell phone, while customers were waiting in line. So, I told my supervisor, some of the things that he has said in my presence and customers. I get that he is trying to be funny, we work with college students, but there is that line. This is a grown man, with two children, and he is creeping me out....I would hate to know what some of the customers think...I know what my fellow employees think, but I can only speak for myself...I don't want him fired, I just want my managers to talk with him....I hope they do...The dude drinks so many energy shots, I kinda want to yell, "calm down", but I haven't...

    if he is saying things that can be misunderstood, or making bad jokes, then yes he needs to be spoken to. if he is making you uncomfortable and customers also then yes by all means!
