    Dang...can I get an invite?

Wer are going to the casinos and partying at this lounge they have...then gamble some
  • Well nothing as exciting as that for me this year, but next year maybe! I hope you have a wonderful time! It's my (soon to be) ex husbands bday today so he will come over this evening and hang out with the kids, get his cards etc and I will probably goof off a bit on the pc play yoville on facebook or read.

After he's gone I told my dd we could have a couple little snacks (I have 169 calories saved up LOL) and work on the big puzzle I have going in the living room and see if we can make it till midnight. We're all (DD,9 DS, 5 and myself) getting over sinus infections so I bet we pass out by 830 LOL but who knows? Other than that just gonna enjoy my kids and my puzzle and the last night for my Xmas lights.

Have a great time at the party and be safe on the roads

    Bugg

Family time is always fun! When I was growing up we always watched all 3 indiana jones movies on NYE and had a little mini party with the family! Fond memories of that!
  • Having NYE party at my house! There is so much pressure to have a good time on NYE... now everyone is coming to my house so I am nervous... my hubby host parties a lot, but NYE is added pressure. I have stuff for cosmos, and margaritas, beer for the boys and wine for whoever. I have lots of yummy apps so hopefully the night goes well! have fun everyone!

I'm just staying in. I was in CA all last weekend so I need a weekend to recoup. I'll more and likely stay up till midnight but do nothing really exciting.
  • We are having friends over to play games.

DH isn't feeling well so we're staying in. Maybe we'll watch Taken. I doubt that he'll make it to midnight, so I'm not sure that I'm going to try myself. We'll see...

Next year I'll hopefully be at my goal weight, so I'm buying myself a cute little dress and DH and I are hitting the town!!

DH, sons ( 19 & 17 ) and myself had a family outing earlier today. Ate at Applebee's, then to The Blind Side movie. Was a good time. I hope to celebrate like Crystal next year! Yay, go us! Here's to 2010...losing the wt, toning the flab and t-r-a-n-s-f-o-r-m-a-t-i-o-n!!

Leaving for a vigil Mass in about 30 minutes, stopping afterward to buy the salsa I forgot earlier today from the store, then coming home to eat Trader Joe taquitos with salsa and cheese for dinner with some veggies. A little later on, I will pop the cork on a bottle of Champagne, :drinker::drinker: curl up in my chair and a half with my three pesky doggies, and see if I can stay awake til midnight.

(My original plans were to drive to some friends about an hour from here, party with them, stay over and watch to see if the Ducks can knock off Ohio in the Rose Bowl. The weatherman nixed my plan by sending snow and freezing rain into the Columbia Gorge, which was my destination.:grumble: After the experience of driving through the Gorge in whiteout conditions LAST year, I don't feel I need to risk life and limb to do it again, so I am staying home.)

Whatever anyone may do tonight, make smart safe choices while you are having a good time. And if you see someone who is not in a condition to make prudent decisions, try and save them from themselves. You might save their life or someone else's.

    Happy 2010:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

That's why I love the hotel parties. You stay at the hotel and don't have to worry about driving anywhere at the end of the night!

Awwww! That sounds great to me, I like to party but I like my quiet time too, and this year with everything going on in my life the holidays are just like mini hurdles I have to get over. Next one is my bday next weekend and then I'm done till......dun dun DUN....Valentines day. :noway: But one step at a time, just like weight loss, right?

Just rented Night at the Museum 2 for the kids and I to watch on ppv so thanks for the movie idea!

I am glad to hear so many of you are staying at home with kids. I don't feel so bad now.

I thought about having a glass of wine once the kids are in bed, but I just got back on the wagon today, and I don't feel like dealing with having to enter MORE calories for today. So I'll just be pathetic instead! LOL

Working...lol. Accountant, month end, year end...whatever. No fun.

Seriously, I have dark grape juice and sprite chilling for midnight punch (we don't drink). I bought some fireworks so at around 11 pm, we'll go outside and set those off, then watch the ball drop while we toast each other. That's me, hubby, S21, his girlfriend, and D4. We're SUCH party animals

Funny, lying sack of *kitten* scale says I lost 1.5 lbs. First time in 4 months it's dropped below my plateau weight. Not possible. I even ate garlic fries at The Tilted Kilt yesterday, for lunch. Weight loss is a fluke.

Sometimes eating more than you usually do can kick you out of a plateau.

I log everything I eat, and am not eating more than I normally do. The quality has been less than pre-holidays, however...with fries, pies, chips, etc. which I don't normally eat a lot of.
