I was put on a waiver for my back for 30 days so now what do I do??
I was wondering if it's safe to still do elliptical and/or bike?? I can't NOT workout for 30 days AND I wanted to do some kind of strength training...any advice for a broken girl?
I looked through the prior forums and found a few useful tips just wondering if you all have anything else as you have been quite helpful in the past.
Thanks- Jess

You really should ask the doc that put you on waiver. Or a physical therapist.
I would assume that you could do strength training that involves arms and maybe legs. Back injuries are really something you don't want to mess around with. A simple pulled muscle can escalate to something more if you don't let it rest and heal. Be safe not sorry.0 -

Which means, none of us are doctors and for can tell you for sure what you can and cannot do. If we did and you followed the advice and got hurt further, then what?
I'd go ask your doctor and see what he tells you0 -

Ditto! We have NO CLUE about what's going on with your back. Definitely not a question for the internet!0 -
With the above disclaimer stated...
If it hurts, don't do it. There are plenty of ways to exercise that probably won't hurt your back. I think the bike is a good choice. Swimming or running in the pool may be good too.0 -
I'm definately not asking for professional exercise tips here just curious if anyone that has ever pulled a back muscle had anything exercise wise that worked out of for them.
Thanks.0
