Are there water substitutes?

I am wondering if we should count tea, coffee, juice, etc. as part of our quota for daily water intake. I drink lots of warm and ice tea...not a lot of water.

coffee and tea, assuming they have, actually count against your water because they dehydrate your body. I usually try to drink and extra glass of water/per cup of coffee or tea I have :drinker:
  • I too have a hard time drinking water some days. Something occured to me yesterday while I was refilling my water bottle.

We are so blessed to live in a part of the world where clean water flows out of our faucets. People in other parts of the world die everyday because they simply don't have clean water.

That one thought really changed my perspective on water. We take so much for granted, including our amazing ability to obtain great health through proper fitness and nutrition, including water.

God has given us so much, and we sometimes act like spoiled children. I know that's made me rethink my fitness and health goals and made me more appreciative of what I have available to me, as well as pretty ashamed of how I have not taken advantage of the good things.

    Happy New Year!

Substitutes for water, no I don't think so but maybe try adding a slice of lemon, lime or some other fruit to it. Some find this refreshing and helpful in getting to like water for itself.
