First week on MyFitnessPal and Loving it!!!

In the past I have been very heavy, but started walking, then jogging, then running and finally doing triathlons. Over the years my weight has yo-yoed up and down. Five years ago I lost 22 lbs using the "net calorie" method by logging everything into a notebook. It was very time consuming, but it worked. This website is SO MUCH EASIER!
Even though I train regularly and do triathlon races, I have gained 5 of those 22 lbs back and want to get rid of them PLUS lose additional 5 lbs! My best friend and I are having a weight loss competition and that should help with motivation, too. In addition, she aspires to beat me in triathlons this upcoming season...my brother and husband also want to beat me. I know if I am lighter, I can get faster and not let that happen!
