Cutting Cravings?

Im doing pretty well not eating after dinner, no binge eating and listening to my body however im always over on sugar and carbs, I crave them so much at first i figured i would just eat them being as how i stayed well within my calorie goal however it doesnt seem to work for me. Going through some old stuff i found a food diary i kept when i was at my ideal weight and noticed my carb and sugar intake was half of what it is now...I dont remember feeling deprived then so i know i can get back to it. But how? Whats you advice for cutting sugar and carbs??


ps- Ive been slowly eating less like cutting out a couple things a day, and not buying any junk when i shop, no sodas, no white bread or pasta, Today i had a couple teddy grahms now they are gone so i wont buy more...you get the point ive been slowly weening myself in a since
