Soooo My homemade Pineapple/sweetNSour infused chicken turned out yummy and WAY less SODIUM then lunch meat I was using. In case you are interested here is the recipe:
5lb bag frozen chicken breast
1 can dole pineapple slices. (I purred in blender adding some water)
2 tbsp low sodium kikkoman soy sauce
1 tbsp distilled white vinegar
1 16 oz bottle of water
I put all ingredients in electric skil
let with lid et let simmer 1-1/2 to 2 hrs
I let it cool then put in fridge and divided up after chilled.
I divided mine into 3.5 servings per lb, and got 17.5 servings/5lb bag cooked so my breakdown is:
Calories 125
Fat 3g
Sodium 338mg
Carbs 2.8g
Protein 23g
I ended up with 3.5 servings per lb I cooked and that was about 5.3 oz RAW....Once its COOKED it weights less so you have to RE-WEIGH as a whole after COOLED AND DRAINED for a TOTAL OF GRAMS and divide accordingly.....When you BUILD a REcipe in MFP you can put in how many servings it makes and it will spit out the info...so until you Weight yours and decide how many servings you want then I used calculator to get the weight each of my servings would weigh on gram scales.... Hope that makes SENSE
