Jinx myself on weekends!

Hi, I am 57 years old, and I live in the Waukesha, Wisconsin area. I cannot tell you how many pounds I have lost over the span of the last 45 years..and how many pounds I ultimately gained back! For my last weight loss journey, I started cutting back and watching what I eat January 2, 2012. I have lost 50 lbs since then...but the last 10 are the main problem....I do well all week and just screw it up on weekends. Hopefully, by being accountable here, I can lose those last 10 lbs! It is hard to cook for just me, so I do eat a lot of frozen "diet" type dinners. They seem to work for me, but I know the sodium is up the kazoo.

In order not to gain on the weekends when I still tend to overeat because there is less keeping me busy, I add in workouts. Saturdays I walk the dog first thing then go to the gym for two hours in the morning. By the time I get back, I'm exhausted and I've built in lots of calories that I can eat toward for the rest of the day. Sundays I walk the dog in the morning, grocery shop, fix a big dinner, and while it's in the oven, go to the gym for two hours so that I have plenty of calories built in to eat that big dinner that's ready about the time I get out of the shower post-gym.
I live alone, too, but I actually cook more now than I did when my son was home. I have found that if I cook a lot on the weekends my fridge and freezer all full all week and when I come home I just have to heat something up, much like my own little microwave meal. I also keep a lot of frozen veggies around in case I am too tired to prepare them fresh during the week--sometimes even making a salad seems exhausting after work.
