Alright guys. Desperate college student here. Throw me any meal/snack ideas that only require a microwave and can store in mini fridge. I do have a food processor to help, but let's keep it simple

Microwave popcorn. Can't get enough!
ETA: Also, I'd probably have a lot of canned foods around. Canned veggies, refried beans, soups, etc.0 -

Hey there! I lost 20 pounds my freshman year with just a mini fridge, microwave, and grill.
Can you have a little George Foreman Grill? Mine was super easy to hide, and made things a billion times easier xD
Do you like tuna? Tuna sandwiches and wraps are a good idea
Does your mini fridge have a tiny freezer? You can get fully cooked chicken breast just need a microwave!
Yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, nuts for breakfast or snacks
I'll post again if I remember some of the other things I did xD0 -
I do brown bag popcorn. 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels in brown lunch bag. Fold lunch bag over, and microwave for 2:45ish. Voila! Tasty, light, and very cheap.
I would also highly recommend a slow cooker. You don't need a big one, but you can make a TON of healthy good food in those that you can store in the fridge for the week and eat off of.0 -
I used to keep the Oscar Meyer Grilled Chicken strips in my fridge along with some whole wheat pita bread. Also you can always keep some whole wheat pastas in your fridge. Fruit, lettuce, and spinach were staples in my fridge too. You'd be amazed at how good of a salad you can create in a dorm room. Other than that, I had a freezer and would cook healthy meals in bulk whenever I went home and I would freeze them for later.0

For a sweet treat, try skinny pumpkin fluff.
1 small can pumpkin
1 small box sugar free vanilla pudding
1 small tub of cool whip free
Fold ingredients together and keep it in the fridge. Only 77 cal for 1/8.0 -
String cheese0

microwave muffin!
for the base recipe, just toss 1/4c oats, 2 tsp cinnamon powder, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1 egg white, 1 tsp brown sugar (or a packet of stevia) and mix them all up! then throw in blueberries for blueberries muffin, chocolate powder for chocolate muffin. (well you get the idea!) and just put them in a mug and microwave it for 1 min or so. you can change the toppings to have countless variations!0 -
Thanks guys. Love all the meal ideas. I am on meal plan but Sunday nights they cut us off so I am all alone with no ideas, until now. Also trying to gain so snacks are a must, but have a lot off allergies that pretty much force me to eat healthy (thus the weight problem). These are so helpful0

Tuna, pickle relish, light mayo, and hard boiled eggs. (you can buy them in deli's already hard boiled).
Peanut butter and jelly!
Apples and peanut butter.
String cheese.
low sodium deli meats
low sodium canned soups
I love the idea of buying a small slow cooker, they have them at wal-mart for really cheap, and are small enough to fit on a side table.
Hope this helps0 -
i pretty much LIVE on sandwich-ready tuna packs -
http://www.starkist.com/product/ready-made-tuna-salad-chunk-light
they're so easy and individual sized. plus, the completely eliminate the "i've made tuna and now the entire dorm/apartment smells like tuna" problem. and they're great to pack & go!0
