Loosing too fast/ double what MFP projects?

So I have my calculations set at a projected 1 pound a week weight loss or a 500 daily calorie deficit. I put myself as lightly active even though I'm probably not because I don't want to eat less than my BMR and throw myself into starvation mode.
I'm seeing amazing results and have lost 20 pounds in a little less than 9 weeks. That concerns me however. I only had a BMI of 30.1 when I began this journey! Am I loosing too fast? Should I eat more? I eat back almost ever last exercise calorie as it is.

I lost fairly fast in the beginning too, but, it DOES slow down.
It ended up taking me about 8 months to lose 45 pounds. I've spent the last year in maintenance. This last month, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I gained 5 back. I'm back on track now though, so hopefully I'll lose that 5 again. It'll take longer though, as it always does when you're close to your goal weight.0 -
yes, the weight loss probably will slow down on its own.. but mainly, i think if you are feeling like you are eating enough and not feeling hungry then I would stick with what the site is giving you. I put mine at a projected 1.5 lb a week loss and found i needed a little more food so i went to 1 lb and it seems like a perfect fit. Congratulations on your progress so far! you should be so proud of yourself!0
