Life getting in my way.......I am usually positive but right now I can't be. Well temporarily at least. I just started nursing school 2 weeks ago full time huge adjustment and planning for bringing enough food and study time and yada yada yada and then all at once I find out Saturday a woman I've been caring for for almost 2 years had a stroke and will probably be passing soon (sad and also loss of job) and my husband of 8 years is being deceptive and on dating sites acting single (who knows the full extent of it) meanwhile we have 4 kids under 10. So all in all diet and exercise haven't been number one past few days. I haven't given up, just side tracked. I hate stuff like this, I know it happens to us all. But it sucks. Any pointers how to keep it all together and get back on track? I don't know what to do.........

You have so much to deal with that is about other people - your friend/patient, your husband, your kids, expectations of your lecturers etc etc. Now you need to say - this 30 minute window is for me. and that 's when you do your food planning, preparation or exercise.

It's tough but you will feel such a huge sense of achievement if you can do it.

    Best wishes

You hang on tooth and nail, and stop putting so much pressure on yourself!
You have a LOT going on. One trick that might help is to keep a very standard routine. Make a meal schedule and preplan, even if it's boring, it sounds like you need some boring lol

I don't have any good tips...Sorry to hear about so many things going on at once. When I went through a divorce and job loss, it sidetracked me for 2/3 years. I wish i had just kept up my 1/2 hour a day walking...it would have helped a lot..
