For the past month I have had an aching in my left leg. Last night when I went to bed my right leg started aching too!!! I havent done anything that would affect my legs for so long. Anyone got any ideas?? My back has also started feeling "stiff" for a couple of days too.

have blood work done to rule out things like low potassium and such

I tried NHS direct and the answer came back "phone 999"!!!! If the pain was sudden i know they would be concerned it was a DVT but its both legs and one of them has been aching for over a month.

I'll make a doc apt if it continues for much longer or gets worse. thanks anyway guys xx

could be blood flow- if you are spending a lot of time on your feet or sitting down, the ache could be from the blood flowing back out of your feet when you lie down.

I was getting leg cramps in my legs for a while, at night it would be the worst, I'd wake up in so much pain. I thought it was a side effect of my BC, but I ruled that out. My dad mentioned to me it could be low potassium, so I ate a lot more spinach and banana's for a week, and my leg cramps went away. It could be low potassium.

    Edit to fix a typo.
