Sophmore year of high school, I was about 5'8" - 5'9" and just over 200 lbs. I decided to do the Daniel's Fast for lent that year, eating only fruits, vegetables and legumes. Over the course of the 40 days of lent, I lost about 35 lbs. I have leveled off at about 170-180 lbs for two years now, and just broke into the 160's after doing Cross Country this year, my senior year. Now that Cross Country is over, I haven't worked out in over a month, and have been eating like crap, so I am the heaviest I've been in about two years. I'm now determined to lose the weight by April 1st, my birthday.

I've tried SparkPeople, but the site felt difficult to navigate and confusing with so many options. Probably beneficial, but not natural. Hopefully myfitnesspal can turn my weight and life around.
