I'm addicted to these. Are they a healthy snack or more of a cheat? I'm not sure...

My feeling is they're fairly good. I certainly can't eat many at a time, so they can't do too much damage anyway, but it seems to be around 100 cals/25g, which is rather a lot of wasabi peas, I'd have thought!0

Not that we should believe everything we read, but Livestrong.com says the following .....
A 1 oz. serving of wasabi peas has about 112 calories, according to the nutritional database CalorieKing.com. Though 112 calories is relatively insignificant considering that many adults eat 1,800 to 2,400 calories each day, few people will actually stop eating at a 1 oz. serving. An ounce of wasabi peas is a very small portion size, less than the palm of a person's hand. Many people consume several hundred calories worth of wasabi peas in a snack.

Thanks for sharing that article :happy:0

So it seems to me that these are a good snack as long as you don't eat more than the suggested serving size.0
