Wrist fusion surgery...

Just wondering if anyone has had a partial wrist fusion done and if so, what was your recovery time?

I just found out that I have to get a partial wrist fusion (possibly a full fusion) in the very near future. I know that I will be casted for 6 weeks after sugery but I'm just wondering about others' experiences with this surgery.
