Roasted Broccoli (Food Network, Recipe courtesy Cut the Calories Cookbook)
(note: I revised the original recipe, by removing the extra butter & increasing the olive oil)
Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 12 min
Serves: 4 servings
1 pound broccoli
4 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Wash and drain broccoli. Pat dry. Cut into florets. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with the oil and salt and pepper to taste. Arrange florets in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast, turning once, for 12 minutes, or until just tender (note: I like them slightly browned).

Hi, This sounds good - what are the cals?
Know broccoli low fat/cals but what ablot the oil/salt?
Could you substitute low cal oil spray/low salt?
Please let me know I am dying to try it!!
Thanks. Pauline:flowerforyou:0 -
