Interesting article I ran across today linking childhood and teen obesity with exposure to BPA. I didn't realize it was used in plastic bottles. I thought it was only used in soda cans.

Probably because when children drink soda every day (plastic bottle sodas or canned sodas) it makes them fat.

^I would be pretty inclined to follow this train of thought. While I'm sure chemicals can have negative effects on our bodies, I think we (collective we) are constantly looking for excuses so we don't have to blame our weight on poor eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle.

I highly recommend the documentary 'Tapped'. It's on Netflix. Here's the trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=72MCumz5lq4. It's about the damage done by BPA in plastic bottles and how tap water is more thoroughly tested than bottled water. Also about how our obsession with bottled water is causing major damage to the environment.
