Milk Thistle...Your thoughts?

For those of you who take supplements. Do you also take any milk thistle. I know it is recommended for healthy liver function while on supplements.

I considered adding milk thistle, but I also started drinking a 'liver cleanse' every morning (4 oz pure cranberry juice, 1Tbsp lemon juice, 1Tbsp apple cider vinegar). I figured the milk thistle would be redundant and waaaaay more expensive, so I'm sticking to my drink.
I am curious about what others have to say though...0 -
My doctor recommends it. My mom's doctor also does.0

I like the cider idea! and looks way more budget friendly!0

And it only tastes really awful for the first couple days. I mix with 4 oz water and drink it down no problem now :drinker:0
