I am so upset at the moment. My recumbent bike is my life line when it comes to doing my cardio. I know I can do cardio without it, but it has been then single most important thing in my road to getting healthy. Every day, Monday through Friday, I get on and do my thirty minutes. I keep a log of how fast, far and hard I do. Seeing my improvement is one of the little rewards for the hard work I put in.

Well today, my bike is finally dying. After less then a year it is falling apart. The ball bearing went out months ago, but thankfully were under warranty and got fixed. Now, the console that controls the resistance and allows me to record my progress is faltering and is to the point it resets half way through each workout. Unfortunately I am out of warrenty and it will cost almost the price of the bike new to get it replaced.

The reason for my post, besides to vent, is to ask if anyone else has had a problem with their console. My bike is a Gold's Gym 390R. Icon is the manufacture though. Anyway, if someone has an idea of how I could fix it or better yet, if you had the problem and how you fixed it. I can't afford a replacement, so I will make do, but if I could somehow get it fixed, that would be amazing.
