Most unique: wasn't ice cream - frozen custard made with dark Mexican chocolate and chili peppers.

Best ice-cream: Frozen Custard from the Colorado Custard Company, just a little sweet and oh so creamy

Most unique: Tonka bean ice-cream, I ate it in Germany. Tonka beans' use in food is actually banned in the US by the FDA. Too bad cause it was really really good!

    Bluebell Homemade Vanilla

oddest was in Asia, red bean or corn ice cream.

I have a pint of Graeter's Pumpkin ice cream in my freezer right now and am using LOTS of will power to leave it there for tonight haha.

The most unique flavor I've had is green tea mochi ice cream. Mochi is a Japanese style of ice cream. It's ping pong size balls of ice cream wrapped in a type of rice paper that's kind of gooey and chewy. It sounds so weird, but is soooooooooooo good. I first got it at my favorite sushi joint, but then found it at a grocery store here in Cincinnati that specializes in international food. I think i've actually seen it at Trader Joe's lately too.
