Your arms looks like mine.. LOL, impressive for a woman for sure!

and yes, I also agree that your vein size increases as you gain more muscle.

Oh well it is what it is. It's not good or bad, its just there is no more fat to hide it. Hopefully having a few muscles makes the leanness look better. ;)

After I run 3 miles I even have visible veins in parts of my forehead on either side. It's sort of freaking looking. I've noticed that mine stand out more when I'm hotter and during continued exercise. Go outside on a chilly morning and hang out without doing anything. Your veins will become less noticeable. They should become less pronounced as the weather gets cooler or if you stay inside with the AC cranked up high. I think it's body fat, blood pressure, and body temp. All 3 contribute to the look for me at least.

Yeah, when I woke up this morning my veins in my hands were small again, so it just varies from activity. Probably good because my veins are so small that nurses have always had a very difficult time putting in an IV and always need to put it in my hands because the veins in my wrists are so small. And my husband said improved circulation is a good thing!

I think it is a combination of both when u work out. U have a healthier vascular system and are more lean so they show more. Embrace them, u look amazing!

Man, I haven't see her in a while. What a shame, she used to have killer arms back in the day.

She's skinny but she's also getting old(er). That can also contribute to the veins showing more.

Thanks for the info. I noticed my veins in my arms being more pronounced when dead lifting earlier this week. Glad to know that this is a good thing.

I just looked at my arms and they are similar. Why didn't I notice this before? Hope I don't become self-conscious, LOL!

I'm older than Madonna and my arms look like the OP's, NOT Madonna's!
