If you begin 30 Day Shred or Insanity...

Do you have to continue doing it to keep the results? This is probably a dumb question. I imagine you would need to. But do you have to continue to do it on a daily basis, or is it something that you only do a couple times a year since the programs are 30-60 days long? Or do you just do them every once in awhile? I just can't imagine doing them every single day, forever. Just curious what you'd have to do in order to maintain the results.

I do insanity every other day but the other days I am at the gym. I switch scenes only to keep me motivated however doing insanity everyday will make you lose fat faster only because it's a full body workout. It's intense but feels good.0

I have been doing ChaLean Extreme from Beachbody since early February this year. I did the 90 day program and then she offers a "Lean for Life" schedule that I continue to do because I love the workout so much! However, if you're trying to lose a lot of weight and you're doing the same exercises every day, you can plateau and will need to change things up. Ideally, you want 3 days of weights per week and at least 3 days of cardio. I have done the Shred, but never done Insanity. I would think after a couple months on the Shred you would want to change things up and challenge yourself more. Although I will still do one of those workouts from time to time and they still whoop my butt at the end lol.0

Next week is my final week for my first round of Insanity. Next up, I'm thinking of doing a hybrid of Ripped in 30 and Insanity. I also want to continue on with my running. I may start a second round of Insanity in the next few months. For me it's important to mix it up so I don't get bored.0

i have been goign between 30ds and ripped in 30. I do it for the 30 days then i take a break from it and do other exercises for a month, then i go to the other dvd, do it for a month and then other exercises for the next month. I am thinking of adding no more trouble zones into the ix next... so i might do NMTZ for 3 days a week and do 3 reg cardio days ( treadmill/ elliptical) for 2-3 days a week during the winter.0

You always have to consistent workouts to maintain your results. Not necessarily the same exercises, but something. Before my surgery I was doing a hybrid of Insanity 3X per week and Chelean Extreme 3X per week which was a lifting program.0
