Soooo
Weight crept up a little this past year and I've been looking at strength training for a while now but had trouble finding any local gyms.
Was looking around the other night and happened to find two fairly close which seem to have free weights and the like. Went to check them out today but it turned out they're closed during the middle of the day, oops. Going to call them tomorrow morning.
Also got started (again) on c2k.
Messed up a little today but fridge and freezer are now full of vegetables and other good food now so should be set![B) B)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
Now to reduce my weight what I've been looking at has suggested 1500 cal. Although if I do start strength training I'm wondering if I should bump it up to 2000cal or so (150g protein) as according to what I'm reading 2000 or so would be around what would be needed to maintain my current weight (~150lbs). Probably more reading is in order.
