What do you do?

Here is the situation, you are away with a large group and stuck in a hotel with no fridge. Everyone is ordering dinner from a local pizza/sub shop. What do you order? I know that you should make smart choices and I'm not asking how I should order, I'm just looking to see if something someone else typically would order in this situation, might spark an idea for the future.

I try to look up the place's menu before ordering or going there so I know what they have. I hate being put on the spot to order something, especially when your stomach is growling and people are rushing you. It's always nice if their website has nutritional facts because that always helps me pick out something too. If they do not have a menu online, I guess I would just use my best judgement. I know having a 6" sub with less dressing and more veggies is a better idea than getting 3 pieces of pizza topped with sausage, ham, and pepperoni. Also, if I know in advanced that I'm going to dinner that night a few days before hand, then I try to eat healthier those days and exercise. That way I don't feel as guilty for getting some greasier stuff.0

Well it all depends on when you eat and what you had during that day. But pizza shops always sell salads. But if you want pizza get pizza, it's not going to hurt you for one night, especially if you don't eat it daily.0

One or two slices of pizza is fine, esp. if it's not a large pizza.
I'd probably go with that or a salad.0 -
I'd eat a piece or two of pizza with green peppers and onions on it and not eat the crust. I never eat the crust on pizza anyway but stuck in my memory bank is reading somewhere that, on average, the crust alone is 100 calories.0

I'd probably get a salad (without all the croutons and whatnot) with the dressing on the side and some sort of sandwich. Then I'd cut the sandwich in half, throw away half the bread and rebuild the sandwich so all the insides are on the two smaller buns. BAsically you end up with a double-filling sandwich with only half the bread.
The only problem with these pizza/sub shop dinners is there is no way to avoid a sodium Armageddon. Drink lots of water!0 -
It would definitely vary per pizza and I'm sure that numbers an exaggeration, but like I said, it stuck in my brain. I eat pizza for the cheese anyway so the crust is useless to me.0
