I believe the best workout music is music you like, because it's more fun to work out if you rock out at the same time. I have a folk-metal Pandora station that plays a mix of Alestorm, Ensiferum, Blind Guardian, Korpiklaani, Dropkick Murphys, The Young Dubliners, Wintersun...etc.
  • I'm sure this has probably been done before, but I get a bit bored of my playlists, and constantly pressing onwards on shuffle is interrupting my athletic acheivements :P

What are the songs that really get you going on a good workout?

I'm open to any genre, any artist :)

    All of Pinks music,
    Missy Elliot!!!
    Aalyiah
    Janet Jackson
    Bob Marley(DEFINITLY THIS ONE!!)
    Lauryn Hill
    Pitbull
    TLC
  • All of these are by Christian Kane:
    The House Rules
    Let me Go
    Calling all Country Women

    Drink on It- Blake Shelton
    Springsteen-Eric Church
    Something about a Truck-Kip Moore

Girl Talk... he's a DJ that mixes hits from every genre and decade into one song. He's pretty awesome to run to. My fave albums are "Feed the Animals" and "All Day".

    I love Girl Talk!!
  • Anything Motionless in White, Hollywood Undead or Asking Alexandria :D

Might not be to your taste but I like the soundtrack (musical not movie) to Priscilla:Queen of the desert. Burned 300 calories on the treadmill of doom while listening (and humming along with) it. fall back down by Rancid, really anything Rancid or Green Day.
