A lady at the gym told me she figured I was going into negative calories. I work out on the elliptical in the mornings and just started to do insanity at night... (day3 for me) . ANYwho- mfp has me at 1300 cal per day.. and usually that is what I eat.. although I get extra calories for working out.. do I have to eat them in order to lose? I have been plateauing for a couple weeks and she thinks its be I am not eating enough... opinions please!

You need to eat more. You need to fuel your body for the exercise you are doing. What is important is what you fuel your body with. On days when I do Insanity I should be around 2,200 cals, on days off I am around 1,700. If you don't eat enough your body will think you are starving yourself and plateau like you said....0
