I have been logging for the last 95 days faithfully everything from the bad days to the great days. I am just starting to get very aggravated that nothing is happening.
I have been working out again I was doing 30 day shred. bad idea I hurt my knee and was not able to work out for 3 weeks. I just don't understand it I knew I was not eating enough but that is not a problem now and I am eating my cals plus part of my workout cals back. Should I not? I wear a fitbit and I usually don't log workouts but I was told that Tae Bo is more upper body cardio so I should. Should I ?
Grrrrr I am just very DISCOURAGED rite now that I could eat a whole bag of chips (ya I know I am not going to)
Any advise welcome I Am a open book you can check out my diary!!!
Thanks for taking time to read!!

What is your Carb, protein and fat %? Overlooking your diary the first thing I will mention is you seem to be eating more carbohydrates than protein. Remember, carbs are just used as energy in the body so if the exercise isn't high enough you will not burn off the carbohydrates. My ratio is 45% protein, 30%carbohydrates, and 25% fat. This allows me to have high enough proteins to build that lean muscle and enough carbohydrates to fuel my body and my exercise. The calories you have set yourself at (1400-1600) are a good setting. I, however, try not to eat more than 1500 most days unless I have had a high exercise day in which I might eat another 150.
You should rarely eat your workout calories back. Think of it in basic math. You subtract 200, and then add 200, you just evened out. Weight loss is a certain calorie deficient that allows your body to eat off of itself for the extra calories you need. Unless I burn over 1000 calories in exercise I never eat my calories back. And like I mentioned before I might if it is on a high burn day but the most I will eat over is 200 calories.
I think that TaeBo and other tapes are wonderful cardio but are you strength training at all? Sometimes it is better to stick to basics when it comes to cardio (walking/running/biking) and sticking to basics when it comes to strength training. If you do not understand how to strength train message me, it isn't difficult but there is a more effective way to do it than just sitting on the same machine for 20 minutes. Muscles burn more calories in the body so building that lean muscle will help your body live off the existing storage in your body, hence weight loss.
I know this is difficult. Weight loss makes us feel like we are always not doing something right, especially when the scale isn't moving. You should always log workouts that way you know how much your calorie burn is. When it comes to effective cardio your program should be warming up, getting the heart rate high, allowing the heart rate to come down (but not to a resting beat), pumping it back up, and so on until over a half hour, then there should be a 5 minute cool down period. ALWAYS STRETCH afterwords, it not only helps that heart rate cool down but your muscles feel better when you do. Thats why effective walking/running is going so many minutes fast, then cooling, then fast again. That gets the body to sweat and really burn calories.

I'm laughing because I've been on here working really hard, day in, day out for 180+ days and thrilled with my 39 pound loss. I'm really proud of you for how far you've come. I hope this helps you perspective-wise. You are, and have, done great!0

You've lost loads and averaged well above the normal aim of losing 1-2 pounds a week don't be discouraged you're doing amazingly, inspiringly so, sometimes people plateau but it's usually just a bump in the road especially when you've been losing above the average. Just keep at it and look at the long term Also I've found that losing weight slowly means I keep it off when I stop "dieting" .0

I am not sure how I figure the % of the Fat Protein and Carbs? do I only do that % of the daily goals they give me or is it something I have to figure out? What is your Carb, protein and fat %?
