Hi MFP, Quick question.. how do I calculate weight loss and get a percentage? Im trying to figure out what is the weight loss percentage of going from 230 to 199.. Please and thank you..

230-199 = 31
31/230 = .13478
So if you lost 31 pounds, you'd have lost 13.5% of your body weight, depending on how you round.
Option 2
199/230 = .86522
So your goal weight is 86.5% of your starting weight, which again is a 13.5% weight loss.0 -
