So about 2 weeks ago I was walking up the stairs into my kitchen (only 3 steps) when my right hip randomly gave out. I almost fell right on my face. Ever since it has been painful to walk, lay down, even apply weight to it. I've been walking with a limp for about 2 weeks and just wonder these things:

1. Should I go to the ER?
2. When will I be able to work out again?

Any help/advice is welcome! thanks! :)

Certainly seek medical help - it would be unfair for anyone on here to suggest anything otherwise!

Agreed! See a doctor, or a Physiotherapist. If you want it to get better, you need to know what is happening. Good luck and quick healing!

I guess I should have added in the original post that my doctor's office is only open M - Th from 9-4 and I work M - F 8 - 5. I guess its time for a visit to the ER or Urgent Care Center. :(

Can you go on a lunch break? That sucks that they won't let you go for a doctor's appointment...

Make an appointment with your doctor, tell your employer you have an appointment, and go. If they are fussy about it, count it as lunch or sick time or something.
