Afraid of gaining it back

I have lost a lot in the last year. I just changed the way I ate and exercised. I don't even really look like the same person. But the problem is I have been smoking the last 4 or 5 months, not a lot, but enough to get addicted. Now I am afraid that now that I am quitting that I will start to gain the weight back. Not really sure how to go about addressing this. Any suggestions?
Honestly, I don't even think its the smoking. I am just really really scared of gaining it back. I still forget sometimes that I have lost so much. Like my brain is still trying to catch up.

First off CONGRATULATIONS on losing 90 pounds, wow that is fantastic!!! I must say I do know what it is like to quit smoking, I smoked a pack every day and it took me three times before I got the beast off my back. I started jogging to curb the cravings, to eliminate some of the stress and to combat some of the weight gain and it did work! I have not and will not EVER touch one of them evil things again!!! One ugly issue did arise out of that bad habit, I replaced nicotine with sugar so now I fight that! It seemed I always had a cigarette after I ate like a dessert and it gave me that "feeling" well when I quit smoking I replaced it with sugar to get that "feling" again. Now I am fighting the sugar addiction and that is this years resolution!! All I can say is if you can ditch 90 pounds girl then you can definitely ditch the cancer causing/stinking sticks!!! Do NOT have any sweets around when you decide to quit. Use extra water, crisp fruit and veggies and yes more fitness. Go outside and get fresh air it will help tremendously!!! Maybe start a blog on here, I am sure it was other members resolution and it would be very supportive for each one of ya!! I wish you success in this and you know what? it WILL look better on that thin body too!!!!0

Thank you sooo much for the encouragement. I really should start blogging on here. I do need to get rid of the sugar, because I see what you mean and it is the first thing I grab for. I am going food shopping today and I'll make sure to get more fruit than normal and to stock up on healthy alternatives. Maybe I will take up running. Now that my knees are so bad anymore, I think it might be a good resolution.
Thanks again!
