One that tracks calories too0

Check amazon. I bought the Polar FT4 for $55 or so. Don't waste your money on a crappy walmart one or something.. From what I've read, they can be wildly inaccurate.0

New Balance N4.......times our work outs....calories counter and heart rate! very easy to use. They have them on ebay for around $30 or maybe even a lil cheaper0

I was just in Target looking at the New Balance N4 and it's priced at $69. Now I'm about to go on ebay to find one much cheaper.0

Really? I needed this topic!
So you all like the New Balance....watch e-bay is going to run out after this thread! lol0 -
The Polar FT4 is a great option for simple HR, Calorie, and time tracking. You can change the battery in both the watch and receiver which will save you from having to purchase a new receiver when the battery dies.0

I got the Polar FT4 a few days ago for under $50 on eBay new in box. I LOVE it.
You want one that lets you input your height, weight, and age for best results.
I honestly love the calorie readout because I can keep pushing myself... "Just 50 more calories to go!"0 -

Yes, that. I bought one from target for my son. It was a New Balance, so I thought since it was a name brand it was a good deal. WRONG! Piece of crap. I love my Polar FT1... it's cheap, but does a great reliable job.0 -
I've had a Polar FT4 for about a year, I love it, I think it was about 80.00 on Amazon.0

Yes as stated.. I love my Polar FT4. I got it at Heart rate monitors usa. It was about $55 with free shipping. It arrived in 4 days.0

I got the Polat FT4 also. So good I got the husband one too. Don't do the crappy ones at Walmart. Limited to what they can do. Polar one is so easy to use and set up. I got mine from Amazon too. Best price I found. Good luck!0

So the Polar Ft4 is really that much better?
anyone have the bronze one it seems to be the cheapest but I'm not sure about the funky color for $60 I hope to wear it for more than just a working out! lol0 -
I have a Polar PT4 and love it. Basic but it works.0

I have the bronze one. I thought it was kind of weird to make the "women's" watch a brownish color, but I wasn't about to spend more money because of it. I got it and I like it. I don't wear it when I'm not working out though...0

My girl friend got me the Timex Heart Rate Monitor....no idea how much it costed since it was a gift, but it works great, it's pretty bare bones.....doesn't calculate calories, just HR, avg HR, and work out timer.....but it works for my needs Comes with the strap though....which isn't too bad....being a bigger guy it is kind of hard to get it on but it works! Biggest problem I've seen though, couple days we were working out, and my HR started going to her elliptical.....and mine, at the same time. It only happened once though....lol.0
