Hi my name is Ciara im new here . I thought it would be a good idea to post here to see if anyone wants to buddy up as such for help and support.
here is my stats CW 157.2
GW 125
I know my goal will be around 2lbs a week but im trying to push myself for the next 6 weeks as i am graduating from university and i would like to look nice for that ( in all honesty as vein as it seems i would love for people to notice some weight loss - even if its only slight) so the next couple of weeks im going to push myself i would love to be at least 10lbs lighter .by then (nov 1st) ...i know it will be hard but im determined to put the work in
If anyone else has a short term goal like myself or just wants another buddy ..then feel free to add me ...I REALLLy want to look good for graduation and would love some help'support if possible

hey - you made the first step by setting yourself a goal weight Do you have a plan to get there..i.e work out regimen and eating plan? Those are going to be important in hitting your goals. You should also keep a journal of work outs, progress, and what not...

yes I plan to do to the gym t least 3 days a week (more than likely it will be 4) , i am doing 60mins of cardio and doing some resistance work too , though id like to gradually increase the resistance side of it over time. Im also tracking what I eat too to make sure I get the most results0

Good luck with your goal Ciara and congrats in advance on your graduation...
I have been working to loose 1lb / week and it is doable... haven't tried 2 lb/week but that should be doable too...
here are a few things I learnt
(1) Cal counts matter a lot
(2) break your meals down to several times in a day than 3
(3) 3 days workout wont cut it... make it 6 if you are serious about 2 lb/week
(4) change your workout as often as you can so your body doesn't get used to it and is constantly working hard. I did it by following P90X workout videos.
(5) One of the most important thing.. find a workout partner... so that even when you don't feel like it, they will drag you out there and work with you.

I am also trying to lose around that amount of weight. I have set my goal at 2lbs a week and generally hit around 1.5/2 which is ok and I'm happy with it. I would probably be more consistant if I exercised more regulary...... so that's my advice to you, keep up with the exercise no matter what it is, good luck and feel free to add me0 -
thanks for the advice guys ...yes i am actually doing 5 gym workouts a week , but i have set a goal of only 3 just in case for watever reason i cant make it , though I think ill be sticking to the 5 workouts a week

I'm hoping to lose weight fairly quickly as well
I'm from Australia, so its summer in 3 months!!!
And I'll be working out about 5 times a week as well at the gym + trying to kepp calories less than 1000
