Recording Exercises

I've been lifting weights and doing exercise DVDs as my workouts, and have been recording on MFP as circuit training. My thought is that I should record it this way because I'm constantly moving, going from one exercise to the next. I'm afraid that I'm not recording it accurately and that it will mess me up on how much I should be eating. I know that I don't have to go exactly as MFP says, but I'd still like to make sure that I'm not eating too many calories back.
Any suggestions on how I should be recording these types of exercises? Thanks.
