Im new to MFP and I'm soon confused about my eating/workouts. Im 5'7" and weigh 165 lbs MFP says that I need to eat 1400 calories a day to loose 2lbs a week. I generally do Crossfit 3-4 days a week and walk for an additional 45-60 minutes 4-5 times a week. (some days burning an additional 1000 calories)

Questions
1- If I exercise do I need to eat more than 1400 calories a day?
2-After working out do I need to eat more calories so I'm not starving?
3- Should I be showing positive calories at the end of the day? If so how much?

A general overview of this is GREATLY appreciated.

Hey hey!!! YES i would definitely eat your calories you work out back. If not, you will probably be starving and that's not good for your body. I always have a protein shake right after i work out. I find the protein is great for your muscles :) If you are looking for some extra support, i have a ladies only support group on fb. We would love to have you! we have challenges every so often and share ideas and tips. Send me a msg if you're interested :)

I'd love to join the fb group, I'm new to this whole thing so I don't know how to message you.

Do I need to eat ALL the calories each day or leave some? Today I burned 1100 between Crossfit and walking so I
MFP is telling me to eat 2300 calories today..... Is that right?

    Thanks for the info
