Today I started beginner's boot camp and OMG I felt like I wanted to die! I had to suppress the urge to puke for the full 45 mins and was ready to pass out 3 times. The spine area that was injured and focal point of my FM, C3-C7, was burning and shooting pains all up and down my spine. This was when I took 2 pain pills to prepare for the thing. As he explained each circuit I had to lay flat on the floor just to counter act the pressure.

Here I am 8 hrs since I did the class and suffering pain mostly associated with not working out for a long time! My joints hurt a little more than normal, not real painful as in a flare up and some muscle soreness but not much after that. Even the spine pain feels like it is dulled out. This morning I'm going to hit the gym and possibly do some ellyptical and a little weight training and see how that works out.

Last week I had hurt my knee and had Lidoderm patches that I was using on my back. Used them on my knee and on areas on my skin that became painful and they did a great job of zapping some of that nerve pain! :)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to check in with a wonderful update to my coping with fibromyalgia and spine damage. As I've told everyone before, I have been suffering so much with these problems that I've had to take pain pills every 2 hrs for the last 15 months since my accident.

A little over a week ago, something happened, not knowing what everyone's beliefs are I will keep it simple. I'M CURED!!!! I have not had a single pain pill for 11 days. Granted, I did have to take some ibuprofen because of left over soreness from the change in my gait all of a sudden. I've felt sooo good that I started going back to the gym this week and had 2 sessions with my trainer.

Saw my doctor today and she was just as shocked as I was when it first happened. Had fun showing off at what I can do now and seeing the look on her face. As you all know, there is really no cure for fibro, especially that fast! Got through our physical and pretty much been told, if I can maintain my current state till the end of the year, this chapter of my pain and suffering will finally come to an end!! No more crying from the pain like I used to, no more pills, no more over sleeping. Finally I have my life back!!!

There is some hope and releif, just have to keep working to find that cure all!! Thanks for everyone's help for trying to cope with this condition guys.
