Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Lexus have all announced that for the 2013 model year cars, indicators (turn signals/blinkers) will be fitted as standard, and no longer be an option across their ranges.

So - there will be no excuses for not using them!!!

    We'd be better drivers if turn signals were banned. People should just pay more attention and not rely on a lamp. :)

    You should have to pass an IQ test to get a driver's license... and have children.

    I'm in the UK...

    It's worse in the US...

    And, BMW have said that next year, they will remove the magnets in the drivers side of their cars so the drivers don't need to stay in the far outside lane being held in position along the crash barrier....amazing!

    Respectfully disagree.

    IQ isn't the problem. Ego and Common Courtesy...oh and the Give-a-sh|t factor.

    Americans cannot drive because they are lazy, as a group. They feel justified. (Well, you shouldn't be speeding anyway!!) They sue, sue SUE when they f up and crazy. The CAR should have protected me! All that crap.

    Adopt German licensing and Rule of the Road in the US of A - and lawsuit reform - and the problems will just-about go away.
