Hello all! I'm new here but not to this pesky weight loss struggle. I'm currently 29, female, 5'2" and 140 lbs. About 6 years ago, I weighed 175 lbs when I decided I desperately need to lose weight and feel better about myself.
Over the next 4 years I did just that and ended up getting in the excersize all the time/not eat a lot mindset and got down to my lowest 98 lbs 2 years ago. I was VERY unhealthy, no energy and forced myself to continue working out and not eating very much, mostly fruits. I realized that I was unhealthy and began eating more and since have gained back 42 lbs.
I've been every weight in between and I am most happy between 118-123 lbs. so that is my goal. THE PROBLEM, however, is that no matter what I try I've continued to gain weight. I exercise at least an hour almost every day of the week and don't eat over my calories very often and if I do it's minimal. I do eat a lot of fruit still and yogurt. I'm pretty muscular for the most part but would love to lose the fat and gain the definition!
I recently began taking birth control pills again and think that may have something to do with the fact that I've gained 10 lbs in 5 months, but there's gotta be a light at the end of the tunnel for me! I think I definitely need to make some changes to lose the 20 lbs I desperately want, but I'm just not sure what to do to make it happen.
Any motivating friends, friends similar size/age to me who have successfully dropped weight or any other help/motivation is definitely appreciated!
