New, injured :(, but motivated!!

Hi, I'm Raj, I'm 23 years old, UK, and when I finally got over my nerves about exercising, I just went and sprained my ankle, which I had done previously early this year in April D;
I've started to eat healthily, which is hard with a big Indian foodie family, but I'm doing this for me, physically, and emotionally, and to finally not be the big one in the family.
I have a boyfriend too, and thought of marriage is on the cards within 4 years, and I really want to be a skinny bride!!!! >.<".
I really want to get stuck in, but the injury has annoyed me >:/, but I can walk on it, but not jump, run just yet, but would like some help/tips on how to rest and exercise.
