School lunches

I just watched the news and they were talking about how some school LUNCHES are served anytime starting from 8:45 am across the nation. This could lead to extra snacking and lack of energy for kids in after school sports. ""THEY" say its from over crowded schools. What are your thoughts? I would be angry. AAANNNDDD My 9 yr olds only have 10 mins to eat a school lunch. How much food is being wasted because of that too? A healthy lunch is worthless if its in the trash. Just my 2 cents.

My son has lunch at 10:35 and is allowed to snack later in the day. His school day is 7:30 to 3:45. I would prefer that he had a more appropriate lunch time but I do make sure that any snacks he has is a healthy choice.0

My kids get a few minutes to eat before going out to plat at 10:30, and then they get 20 minutes to eat at 12:30. They go out at noon to play before eating lunch. And then they are home at 2:46. Nice balanced through the day.0
